The Civil Service Commission has responsibilities for:

  • Appointment of persons to GL 06-10 posts in the State Civil Service.
  • The promotion and advancement of deserving officers on GL 06-10 posts in the State Civil Service.
  • Approving or disallowing application for inter-cadre or inter-service transfer and secondment of staff.
  • Consideration of Petitions from aggrieved officers in the State Civil Service.
